Understanding The Costs

As with any residential or holiday property, there are costs you need to consider before making your purchase.

At Family Tree Holiday Park, we are upfront about all the things you need to consider and have highlighted all the main costs below.

  • 1. Council Tax: Just like a regular bricks and mortar property, you will have to pay council tax on your park home. However, the are classed in the lowest band (A) so you will likely save money here
  • 2. Site Fees: Also referred to as ground rent, site fees are payable to us annually and help cover the cost of the maintenance of the park and connections to services. Typically, these start from £X,XXX per year depending on location and plot.
  • 3. Insurance: You will need to ensure that your residential park home is full insured, just like you would for a bricks and mortar property.
  • 4. Rates: Your electricity, gas and water is metered and billed in accordance with your usage.
